In love? Moving in together in the West Bay to do whatever it is that hipsters do?
You know what? Congratulations.
Happiness be unto you.
That feeling? That, "I feel like a jerk," feeling you shared with me?
I won't try to take it away from you. Not ever.
It happens to me, sometimes, too.
You may find, though, that the manner of your exit,
hell,
the manner of your being,
precludes re-entry.
Just so you know.
It has happened to me, sometimes, too.

One of the things I find most difficult about being an adult is the sheer number of people out there toward whom I wish no ill will, but with whom I just cannot be friends. It's kind of sad, but also kind of liberating. On a good day, that is. On a bad day, it's just sad.

Serene, I swear. First, she couldn't wait two weeks for us to paint so we had to work around her stuff which made it take longer. Any room she walked into, if the door was shut she was gonna leave it open and vice versa. She had no problem leaving my tools outside, electrical cords where people could trip, breaking my neighbor's weed whacker and failing to repair it until confronted. Last week she said she got a job so she'd be around more and now she says she's moving out because she's already over at her boyfriend's so much anyway. She has been here less than than a month. People do what they gotta do. What I gotta do right now is say that I am really tired. (I know I'm preaching to the choir here on tired. I keep wanting to get a nickel's worth more energy so I can come bring you a nice plant or something.) Anyway, onward. Grrrrrr.
